International' picture from 12/2/48 showing the Control Room at Ronaldsway.
Of particular interest is the round D/F plotting table and tray for W/T
message slips. The large wooden box at the back of the room houses the
airfield lighting controls and was probably left from Royal Navy days.
ATC staff are Fred Beagle controlling, Eric Cheshire with the message slips
and SATCO George Griffiths supervising.
